Who owns my domain and website?

You do. The client retains full ownership of all website code, design, content, and domain upon final payment. All credentials, accounts, and source code will be transferred or made accessible within 7 days of project completion. See our Terms of Service for full details.

How does domain registration work?

You have three options: (1) Purchase it yourself and give me DNS access, (2) I guide you through buying it in your name on a screen-share, or (3) I purchase it during development and transfer it to you after final payment. Option 2 is the most common and easiest for most clients.

What's included in "hosting setup"?

I set up your website on a reliable hosting platform and handle all technical configuration including DNS, SSL certificate, and performance optimization. The first year of hosting is included in your package price.

How long does it take to build my website?

Timeline depends on your plan: Basic (~1 week), Starter (1–2 weeks), Professional (2–3 weeks), Premium Commerce (3–4 weeks). This includes design, development, testing, and launch. Timeline assumes timely feedback and content delivery.

What does "3 months free maintenance" mean?

Every build comes with 3 months of maintenance at the matching tier — completely free. This covers security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and content changes. After month 3, you can continue at the monthly rate or let it lapse. Most clients continue because the value is clear by then.

Do you provide content writing?

The Basic plan requires you to provide all text and images. Starter plans include content structuring and polish (up to 500 words per page, 1 content revision). Professional and Premium plans include SEO-optimized content rewrite (up to 800 words per page). Full copywriting from scratch is available as an add-on for $150 per page.

What if I need changes after launch?

Your included maintenance plan covers monthly content changes (30 min to 5 hours depending on plan). For changes beyond your plan's monthly allowance, additional work is billed at $95/hr with your written approval.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Absolutely. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The upgrade cost will be the difference between your current plan and the new plan, with a revised timeline.

What happens if I go over the revision limit?

Each plan includes a specific number of revision rounds (1–5 depending on tier). Additional revisions are billed at $95/hour with written approval before work begins.

How does payment work?

50% non-refundable deposit to schedule the project, remaining 50% due before launch. Invoices are due within 7 days. Late payments may pause work and delay your launch date.

What if I need e-commerce?

The Premium Commerce plan ($7,500) includes Stripe payment processing, a product catalog (up to 50 products), order notifications, and shipping/tax configuration. For complex e-commerce needs (custom inventory, marketplace features), we'd scope that through a paid discovery session under the Custom tier.

Do you build web applications?

Yes. The Custom / Web App tier ($10,000+) covers bespoke backends, user auth systems, dashboards, and complex integrations. These projects start with a paid discovery session ($500–$1,000) where I gather requirements, create an architecture plan, and deliver a fixed-price proposal. The discovery fee is credited toward the build if you proceed.
